My guitar lessons at Kirklees Guitar School have centred around refreshing previously learned and performed songs and then adding improved dynamics.

The theme of adding dynamic contrast as also applied to a cover of Yazoo’s ‘Only You’ that I’m working on. I have taken this 80’s Synthesizer driven song and created a guitar led arrangement with my first use of a phaser effect from my Zoom G3Xn pedal.

Besides the Original version my cover is being influenced by the Flying Pickets acapella version and the version that Alison Moyet performed at The Burberry Fashion show.

I shall complete this by December 2025.
