Rehearsals restarted this week with what looks like a busy period leading up to a return to Holmfirth Picturedrome in December for another evening of Northern Soul. Building upon the success of last years event but a revised song list. There are of course the old favourites like ‘The Night’ and ‘The Drifter’ but joined by new songs like the highly danceable ‘You Didn’t Say A Word’.
First up is a return to Marsden as part of the annual Jazz Festival’s fringe. That will be followed by the rescheduled Leeds University event (cancelled because of the heatwave).
