Soul Choir returned to rehearsals this week with the anticipation of another landmark event at The Holmfirth PictureDrome approaching in October.

Our last gig there, in December 2024, was truly memorable and this special Celebration of Northern Soul looks set to repeat that experience. There is even a Northern Soul dance lesson before we do our set.

The songs shortlisted of course include anthems like Frank Wilson’s ‘Do I Love You’, MVP’s ‘Turning My Heartbeat Up’ and Frankie Valli’s ‘The Night. Some songs are still to be revealed by Dan but the inclusion of The Isley Brothers ‘This Old Heart of Mine’ was well received – we really enjoyed learning that one!
