Although I have used a keyboard for many years, for note bashing, MIDI based composition and auto-accompanied playing I had not actually tried to learn Piano.  My wife had tried to encourage me to do so when we had an old upright piano but time was short back then.

To address this I recently swapped out my old Yamaha keyboard with its auto-chords for a Yamaha P121 digital piano.

I’m now using John Thompson’s Adult Beginner Course with its accompanying audio tracks and the related Let’s Play Piano YouTube series.  I am progressing but it is very slow!

I also like Rob Bee’s Rebel Piano fun approach/
