When I started learning to sing with Olivia it emerged that she was running workshops with her partner Nikki. Normally these were about vocals and performance but occasionally these quite intensive days were about songwriting. They were themselves recording artists of original material ( melodic metal would be my description) for their band Bad Pollyanna.

I took up the challenge and with their coaching developed a song that I had started work on called ‘Sign on Again’.

That experience opened a door and since then I have written several more, usually pop / rock / indie ballad style. I do though suffer from terrible imposter syndrome.
